Brendan Nyhan

PhD, Professor in the Department of Government at Dartmouth College

Brendan Nyhan is a Professor in the Department of Government at Dartmouth College. His research, which focuses on misperceptions about politics and health care, has been published in journals including the American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Pediatrics, and Vaccine. He has been named an Andrew Carnegie Fellow by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and a Belfer Fellow by the Anti-Defamation League and is a contributor to The Upshot at The New York Times. Nyhan received his Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at Duke University and previously served as a RWJ Scholar in Health Policy Research and Professor of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.

Lisa Adams

MD

Dr. Lisa V. Adams is the Associate Dean for Global Health, Director of Dartmouth’s Center for Global Health Equity Director of Global Initiatives, and an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Section of Infectious Disease and International Health at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine. In all her roles, she develops and oversees cross-cutting global health programs and partnerships involving faculty, staff and students.


She has worked in domestic and international TB care and prevention for over 25 years. As an international TB consultant, she has worked in over a dozen countries to provide technical assistance to Ministries of Health. She has published extensively on her TB and HIV research and on global health equity and education. At Dartmouth, she teaches global health and health equity to medical and college students. She is engaged in research on TB and HIV care and is leading a major training initiative through the DarDar Programs, a collaboration between Dartmouth and Muhimbili University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In 2012, she led Dartmouth’s faculty participation in the Rwandan Human Resources for Health Program, a major medical education initiative. She recently worked with host partners in China, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), South Africa, and Ukraine on projects to improve the delivery of TB care services to vulnerable populations, including HIV-infected individuals, children, and those suffering from drug-resistant TB.

Gail Rosselot

NP, MS, MPH, FRCPS (Glas), FAANP, FISTM, FATHNA

Ms Rosselot is an internationally recognized leader in travel health nursing. She is a certified adult nurse practitioner and certified occupational health nurse with special expertise in travel health and health education. Gail is a graduate of the Cornell University-NY Hospital School of Nursing, Columbia University School of Nursing, and the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. Since 1992 she has maintained a private practice for clinical, educational, and consulting services, Travel Well of Westchester in Westchester County, NY. 

Ms. Rosselot frequently lectures at regional, national, and international conferences on travel health topics. She has contributed chapters to a number of travel health texts and is the author of the "Last Minute Traveler" section of the CDC Yellow Book and co-author of the new 2020 section "The Highly Allergic Traveler.". Recently she chaired a group that developed Scope and Standards in Travel Health Nursing in North America.

Marty Cetron

MD, Director, Division of Global Migration and Quarantine

Martin Cetron, MD, is the Director for the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ) at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  Dr. Cetron holds faculty appointments in the Division of Infectious Disease at the Emory University School of Medicine and the Department of Epidemiology at Rollins School of Public Health. He received his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1981 and his M.D. from Tufts University in 1985. He trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington before joining the CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service and becoming a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) in 1992. His primary research interests are global health and migration with a focus on emerging infections, tropical diseases, and vaccine-preventable diseases in mobile populations.

Arianne Buchan

MD, FRCPC

Dr. Arianne Buchan has recently been appointed to The Department of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases, effective September 2017.
Dr. Buchan obtained her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and Doctor of Medicine at Queen’s University.  She went on to complete her Internal Medicine training at the University of Ottawa, followed by her fellowship in Infectious Diseases.  Given her interest in infections in transplant and critically ill patients, she sought out further training to develop a practice in this specialized area.  Dr. Buchan pursued a fellowship in Transplant Infectious Diseases and the Immunocompromised Host at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.  After which, she completed the Program of Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health in Boston.  She is currently completing her Masters of Science in Epidemiology also at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Buchan will at the General Campus of The Ottawa Hospital with a specialty interest in Infectious Diseases in solid organ and stem-cell transplant patients. Her clinical and research interests lie in screening for infectious diseases prior to transplant and in clinical outcomes related to this patient population.diseases prior to transplant and in clinical outcomes related to this patient population.

Mill Falls at the Lake is located at 312 Daniel Webster Highway (8 miles from exit 23 off I-93) in Meredith, NH.
The town of Meredith is located in New Hampshire’s beautiful Lakes Region, just 75 minutes north of Manchester-
Boston Regional Airport and 2 hours north of Boston, MA and Logan International Airport.
